Rebecca L. Chambliss
A native of Montgomery, Alabama, Ms. Chambliss returned home to practice law after completing law school and practicing law in Birmingham for several years. Rebecca’s practice focuses primarily on insurance defense litigation and insurance coverage matters. She has successfully tried numerous civil jury and non-jury trials before various courts throughout Alabama, and has successfully represented litigants in numerous alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Rebecca earned her J.D. degree in 2010 from Cumberland School of Law, where she attended on a Presidential Merit Scholarship. While in law school, Rebecca served as a member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, a Judge Abraham Caruthers Legal Research & Writing Fellow, and Student Bar Association Class President. During her 3L year, Rebecca was also selected as Student Commencement Speaker and was awarded the American Law Institute & American Bar Association (ALI-ABA) Award for Scholarship & Leadership.
Prior to law school, Rebecca attended Auburn University where she earned numerous scholarships and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business & Economics. While at Auburn, Rebecca was an active member of the Auburn University Lobby Board and Alpha Zeta Agricultural Service & Honor Society. She also earned the distinct honor of serving as an Intern for United States Senator Jeff Sessions in his Washington, D.C. office.
Rebecca is currently an active member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, and the Hugh Maddox Chapter of the American Inns of Court. She is admitted to practice before the Alabama Supreme Court, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama.
